Description

This is it, my first attempt at fillies sitting. I am actually pleased with the results as a whole, but the left eye (her right) is a bit messed up. The prompt was to draw an emotional pony/one fit to burst.

This was also the first one I attempted with three practice drawings before it, so that was interesting. This certainly turned out better than if I approached it cold.

Practice drawings don't have to be full-sized or anything. You can scribble out a "thumbnail" version, a small sketch that lays out the basic shapes you want to emphasize for the pose. Helps keep things flowing quicker and lets you develop a sense of gesture and flow for any figure!
